What software is available?
Learning Curve laptops have a variety of software, including:
- MixCraft (music-creation software)
- Pivot Stickfigure Animator (2-Dimensional animation)
- KidPix (drawing)
- ImageBlender (drawing & basic image editing)
- Photoshop Elements (image and photo editing & creation)
- Google Earth (interactive map software)
- Frames (slideshow software)
- Windows MovieMaker (basic video editing)
- Microsoft Word (word processor)
- Microsoft PowerPoint (slideshow software)
Do I need my library card?
To join activities, check out CurveWorld, act in the Theater, join a program, or use a computer---a library card isn't required! However, to check out books and other materials, or check out a laptop to use while you're at the Learning Curve, you will need a library card of your own. To get one of your own, print an application from here, then bring it in with the required identification, the applicant, and a parent or guardian. More details about getting a library card are available here.
